What an Incredible Day!

A Fantastic Day at Full of Noises!

Our Children and Young People (CYP) Group from Vision Support Barrow & District had an amazing creative day with Full of Noises (FON), creating sounds and ideas that will be used to make new jingles for our Talking Newspaper.

The day started with a fun metronome and keeping-in-time session, followed by recording radio-specific words using the children’s voices. The group then explored the many instruments on stage, creating and recording a variety of sounds. Each child had their own solo moment before finishing with a fantastic conducted musical piece. They even experimented with tuning and detuning a radio to capture unique sounds.

All of these recordings will now be used to create different jingles that can be played during future Talking Newspaper recordings.

The group also enjoyed some time in the Full of Noises garden, creating amazing nature prints using leaves, flower petals, and other natural materials. Each child created their own individual print book to take home.
