A fantastic step forward for Vision Support Barrow Tennis!

Janiece Wallace from the South Yorkshire Visually Impaired Tennis Club, who also advises the Lawn Tennis Association, returned for her second visit to support the newly formed Vision Support Barrow Tennis programme.

This visit marks continued support from Janiece and another important step towards forming a dedicated Vision Support Barrow Tennis team — creating opportunities for growth, inclusion, friendship and community through sport.

A huge thank you to Janiece and Joseph for their continued support, encouragement and commitment to helping us develop the programme.

Things are really starting to build, with two members of the tennis team potentially heading to Glasgow soon to compete — an exciting opportunity and a fantastic indication of how quickly the team is progressing!

We’re incredibly proud of what is being achieved and excited to see where this journey takes us.
