Volunteering with us is a meaningful and rewarding way to support people living with sight loss across South West Cumbria. Whether you have just an hour a week or a few days each month to spare, your time, kindness, and enthusiasm can have a genuine impact. You could be helping someone get out and about, enjoy a hobby, attend an appointment, or simply have a friendly chat over a cup of tea.

Every interaction, no matter how small it may seem, helps build confidence, connection, and a greater sense of independence for the people we support. Volunteering isn’t just about giving — it’s also an opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, and be part of a welcoming and supportive community.
