🏔️ Adventure Awaits! Our Residential Trip to Bendrigg Trust
We have some incredible news! Thanks to the amazing generosity of everyone who donated via The Big Give, and a wonderful donation from James Fisher to bridge our remaining shortfall, we are officially able to offer our CYP group an adventure residential to the Bendrigg Trust!
Bendrigg is a world-class outward-bound centre known for its “can-do” attitude and amazing adventure opportunities. This is a fantastic chance for our young people to experience the great outdoors, build confidence, and have a brilliant time in a safe, supportive environment.
🧗 The Weekend at a Glance
- Duration: A 2-night stay packed with action, friendship, and memories.
- Activities: From climbing to sensory trails, we have a wide range of activities on offer. We will tailor the final program to specifically suit the children and young people who attend!
🎟️ Ticket & Booking Information
To ensure a supported and comfortable experience, our booking structure is as follows:
- Who: Each ticket enables one VI child/young person to attend alongside one parent or carer.
- Additional Family Members: Where possible, we will try to accommodate additional family members. However, please note that this cannot be guaranteed until we know exactly how many VI children will be attending and how much space is available.
- Accommodation: We want you to feel at home! Families will be accommodated in their own private room or adjoining room (all rooms feature single beds).
- The Deposit: There is a £50 deposit required at booking. This is a refundable deposit which will be returned to you in full after the event has been attended.
🚗 Getting There
Most families find it easiest to make their own way there to allow for maximum flexibility with their own schedules. However, we want to ensure everyone is able to attend; if you are unable to provide your own travel, we can provide transport on request.
