The strategy has been produced to reflect the ambitions of our trustees, employees, and service users. To write this, we have asked service users across our area about their experiences and what is important to them for the future. This collective ambition sets out the roadmap for the next three years.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the Holiday Inn Express in Barrow-in-Furness is fully wheelchair accessible. The venue is equipped with ramp access and other necessary facilities to accommodate all guests.
Will there be alternative formats of the strategy materials available?
Absolutely. We understand the importance of accessibility and will provide the strategy in large print and braille versions during the event. You do not need to request these in advance. We will also have an audio version of our strategy available online following the event.
Can I bring someone with me to assist?
Yes, you are welcome to bring someone with you to assist if you need guiding or any other support to feel comfortable during the event. If this is the case please book a ticket for your access assistant as well as yourself.
Is there a quiet space at the venue?
Yes, if you feel you may need to take a break during the day you are free to go to the hotel’s quiet space. Please ask reception upon arrival for directions to this space.
Is there a cost for parking at the hotel?
A £2.50 charge will apply for parking at the hotel. Payment can be made at the hotel reception upon arrival.
Will refreshments be provided at the event?
Yes, light refreshments will be available throughout the event including hot drinks and complimentary biscuits.
